Event Manager – Gaming & Entertainment (Part-Time, Local Travel)

Location: Granite City, IL (All workdays begin and end at base)
Pay: $17/hr during training | $18/hr after training + tips + quarterly bonuses + merit-based raises
Expected Hours: 10 – 25 per week

The Role

We are looking for a dynamic, reliable, and customer-focused Event Manager to lead and manage gaming events. This role requires a fun and engaging personality, a clean driving record, and a passion for console gaming. You will operate our Game Theater, troubleshoot games, and engage with customers to create unforgettable gaming experiences. Paid training is provided, including vehicle operation and event management.

What You’ll Do

• Set up, manage, and operate the Mobile Game Theater

• Troubleshoot gaming consoles and assist customers in gameplay

• Interact with guests, play games, and ensure an exciting experience

• Operate our Mobile Laser Tag system and Virtual Reality Parties

• Travel locally to event locations, tow-hitching experience preferred (training provided)

• Maintain a professional and friendly attitude with customers and teammates

• Perform additional tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Requirements (Do not apply if you don’t meet these criteria):

• A fun, outgoing, and engaging personality – You must be a people person!

• Comfortable speaking to groups and engaging crowds

• Excellent driving record (At least 8 years of a clean driving history)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Clean background check

• Reliable, responsible, and team-oriented work ethic

• High school diploma

• Basic knowledge of console video games (Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, etc.)

• Experience towing vehicles is a plus but not required (training provided)
